Part of our church planting strategy involves an economic
component. One purpose of our strategy is to provide viable options for
our church planters to make a living while planting churches. The other
purpose is for these types of projects to be used as bridges to towns
and subgroups that create barriers to the Gospel. The Apostle Paul made
tents as he traveled the first century world planting churches. Our
church planters are layman and they are farmers. In order for them to
move and be ambulant we had to provide a means for these lay church
planters to be able to feed their families and be a blessing to others.
This aspect of our overall strategy is in its infancy; however, we are
already seeing some very good results.
