As you probably already know, we have completed the Luke film in
Tzotzil (Simojovel dialect) and it is ready for distribution. In
January we showed the film in the Zoclo (Main Plaza) of Simojovel, and
it was a great success. In March we set up in Guayaval to show the
film; however, we were not able to, someone repeatedly shut off the
electricity to the entire town. Every time the film would show on the
screen the electricity would be cut off. The lamp in our video
projector surely must have taken tremendous punishment. We are hoping
that by mid year we will begin the translation of the Genesis film in
Tzotzil.
